Jos. A. Bank Buttons Up Plans for Downtown Location

HOUSTON, TX -- Jos. A. Bank will open its first downtown store in Houston Center. The retailer will occupy about 4,372 square feet on the first level of The Shops at Houston Center.

Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc., established in 1905, is known for men's tailored and casual clothing, sportswear, footwear and accessories.

This newest store, scheduled to open by late July, will mark the Hampstead, Md.-based retailer's ninth Houston-area store.

Jos. A. Bank sells its product line through 211 stores in 35 states and the District of Columbia.

Houston Center, owned by Crescent Real Estate Equities, is a 3.3 million-square-foot mixed-use, master-planned development in Houston's Central Business District. The 23-acre development also features four towers of Class A office space, the Four Seasons Hotel and the Downtown Club.
